COURSES OFFERED

RECRUIT FIRE TRAINING ACADEMY
Haz-Co now offers day and evening classes. Day classes are held Monday through Friday from 8 am til 4 pm. Evening classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:30 -10:00 pm and Saturdays 8 am till 5 pm. Upon completion of the course curriculum and final test, the Texas Commission on Fire Protection will administer the State Certification Test. After completion of the required course curriculum and a passing grade on the state fire exam, the student will be certified as a Basic Structural Firefighter in the state of Texas.

National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
NREMT certification is included in the fire academy. The test for certification is administered after completing the 10-week course at Grayson County College. After completion of the required course curriculum and a passing grade on the state examination, the student will be certified as a basic EMT in the state of Texas.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Haz-Co Emergency Response Training Center offers over 30 different classes including but not limited to:

        * Bio Chemical Contamination and Terrorism Training
        * Hazardous Material Training
                (all levels for industry, EMS, ambulance service, hospitals)
        * Haz-woper
        * Blood Borne Pathogens
        * Fire Extinguishers
        * Respirator Certification (all levels)
        * SCBA training
